A key component of Brandywine's mission is active support of the communities in which we do business. This core principle is fully embraced by corporate management as well as all employees, through service initiatives and corporate financial support
- Corporate Philanthropy
Brandywine's corporate giving program distributes donations to organizations that enhance education and support the arts, deliver health and outreach services to families, and to organizations that forward environmental stewardship.
- Employees volunteer Time and Skills – Day of Caring
Brandywine associates demonstrate social consciousness through regular and faithful participation in civic, charitable and volunteer efforts across the nation. One of the ways we do this as employee groups is through our annual Day of Caring projects. During these projects, Brandywine employees work in their communities sharing time, talent, and dollars with others who need help. In this way, employees regularly donate time and effort to repair facilities, organize and stock food pantries, tutor children and adults, clean up public spaces, and organize and participate in walks and runs to benefit many organizations.
- Matching Gift Program
Brandywine matches 50% of personal charitable contributions made by employees up to $1,000 per employee per year. The charity must be classified as tax exempt 501 © (3) of the IRS code and falls into one of the following categories: Health and Human Services, Arts and Culture, Civic and Community, and Educational Funds.
- Executives Lead Charitable Initiatives
Brandywine provides additional philanthropic support through leadership endeavors. Many of our officers serve on non-profit boards or actively participate in community affairs and are involved in charitable initiatives in their respective regions.
